“To behold and reflect the glory of the Lord”

WHO ARE WE?

Providence Classical Community is a homeschooling program that equips families to cultivate their studies with a classical approach to education from a Christian worldview. This community was birthed out of a need for more programs in our area that could offer a classical Christian education alongside a community of like-minded families.

Our classes range from K4 to 12th grade. Meeting one day a week throughout the school year, Providence Classical Community offers classes in the liberal arts with an emphasis on history, literature, art, language, writing, and science.

Our goal is to supply parents with a feast of information and ideas to delight in alongside their children. We are here to support families with leadership in planning, and structure through guides, and fellowship in the community.

WHY COMMUNITY?

The homeschooling educational journey is not meant for families to walk alone. While children need friendships, new perspectives, and group activities, parents need like-minded allies to walk alongside them to encourage and uphold one another. The Lord’s gracious gift of community through homeschooling with Providence Classical Community gives a beautiful blend of all the freedoms of homeschooling, but with the joy of friendships.

OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

The fun and education are not always limited to a classroom. Field trips and holiday parties are scheduled throughout each semester and include events like local theatre, the Botanic Garden, museums, local farms, pumpkin patches, and more! And what school year is complete without field days and festive holiday parties? And if dress-up days are your thing, you’ll find plenty of excuses to break out your costume trunk! Science fairs, book presentation days, mock trials, and a living wax museum help highlight students’ hard work to their families and community. School pictures and a yearbook provide ways to document all the fun had throughout the year. PCC packs all in the joy that kids most desire in a community.
